Academics
Like any other successful school system, the Christina School District recognizes the importance of maintaining a strong and responsive curriculum. It serves as the foundation for delivering a high-quality education and conveying a powerful, positive vision for our students.
Common Core
Delaware is one of 45 states that have formally adopted the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in K-12 English Language Arts and Mathematics. The Common Core State Standards Initiative is a state-led effort coordinated by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO). The standards were developed in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and experts, to provide a clear and consistent framework to prepare our children for college and the workforce.
Attributes of a Graduate
